Hey, I'm Alana!

I’ve been an educator for over 25 years, with most of my career spent working in special education classrooms. Throughout those years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting incredible students with diverse learning needs while collaborating with dedicated educators who are doing some of the most important work in education.

But I also remember something very clearly…

What it feels like to walk into a special education classroom for the first time.

The paperwork.
The different learning needs.
The pressure to meet every student where they are.

And the overwhelming feeling of wondering if you’re doing enough.

That experience is exactly why I created Exceptional Education CA.
